Melbourne comedy troupe Aunty Donna have announced a national tour in support of their debut album The Album, which dropped back in April.
Mark Bonanno, Broden Kelly and Zachary Ruane (and those other less important behind-the-scenes guys) have announced a nine-date tour hitting venues in Ballarat, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Hobart, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne between October and November, featuring a full live band and collaborator Michelle Brasier on backing vocals.
Along the way, Aunty Donna are expected to showcase songs from The Album like the truly gangsta ‘Chuffed (Dad Song)’ and their Matt Okine & Montaigne collaboration ‘The Best Freestylers In The World’.
“We can’t f**king wait to go on our first ever f**king music tour lol,” say the Aunty Donna boys.
“With a f**king live band and Michelle Brasier on f**king backing vocals haha. We’ve f**king never done a f**king tour like this before lol. Limited f**king tickets lol haha.”
While The Album also features the talents of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard guitarist Joey Walker, it’s unlikely he’ll be appearing on ‘The Album Tour’, but stranger things have happened.
