One of our country’s best boutique festivals, Fairgrounds Festival, is returning to kick off the summer festival season, and some of Australia’s biggest names are coming home to headline.
At the top of this year’s bill are two homegrown heroes who have made massive waves overseas — Vance Joy and Courtney Barnett.
Other acts on the bill include British punk stalwart Billy Bragg, indie rockers The Breeders, Chicago rapper Saba, as well as local legends Pond, Winston Surfshirt, Maddy Jane, Sampa The Great and heaps more.
Taking place in Berry’s iconic showground, just two hours south of Sydney, Fairgrounds Festival offers a pretty unique experience. With a swimming pool, tug-o-war, sack racing and a record fair, it’s one hell of a way to bring in the summer.
