Watch Liam Gallagher Pay Tribute To Aretha Franklin At A British Festival

Liam Gallagher has paid a beautiful tribute to Aretha Franklin, who, of course, passed away earlier this week at age 76.

According to NME, Gallagher took a moment to pay homage to the Queen of Soul while performing his headlining set at Rize Festival in England on Friday night.

While performing Beady Eye’s ‘Soul Love’, images of Franklin were displayed behind Gallagher and co. while Liam said, “she had the best voice in universe.” You’d be hard pressed to find anyone who’d disagree with that.

Later in the set, Gallagher dedicated Oasis’ ‘Live Forever’ to the late music icon. On Saturday night, Gallagher reportedly performed the same song in Manchester, alongside ex-frontman of The Verve Richard Ashcroft, and used the moment to pay tribute to the victims of the Manchester bombing last year.
