The Rubens are hitting the road for a marathon run of tour dates in celebration of their third studio album, LO LA RU.
Kicking off this November, the Menangle fivesome’s 12-date national trek will see them perform some girthy shows in both major cities and regional towns, visiting crowds in the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Albury, Adelaide, Fremantle, Launceston, Hobart, Melbourne, Cairns and Darwin, in addition to their gig at Newcastle’s This That Festival.
They’ll be joined at all headline shows by special guests Little May, with an additional opening support act in each state to be announced via a triple j Unearthed competition — yep, that means your band could be doing the honours!
Each winner will also sing the female part of The Rubens’ hit song ‘Never Ever feat. Sarah’ on stage with the band on the night, and you can head to the official Unearthed website for all the details on how to be in the running.
