Sam Smith has announced a support act switcheroo for his forthcoming Australian tour.
British singer Paloma Faith has been forced to pull the plug on her spot opening up for Smith, with Canowindra-born singer-songwriter Gordi recruited to fill her shoes.
“I’m devastated to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances I have had to pull out of supporting Sam,” Faith said in a statement.
“I was so looking forward to it but I am sure Gordi will carry the torch for what promises to be an inspiring evening of music. Sam is just the best.”
Gordi will warm up the stage for Smith at multiple shows across Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth this November.
