UPDATE: The 2018 J Award Winners Have Just Been Announced
ORIGINAL STORY: Triple j, Double J and triple j Unearthed have announced the nominees for the 2018 J Awards.
Kicking off the ABC‘s annual Ausmusic Month, the stations have nominated their favourite Australian acts across four categories: triple j Australian Album of the Year, Double J Artist of the Year, Unearthed Artist of the Year and Australian Music Video of the Year.
Sampa The Great and Mojo Juju lead all nominees with two noms a piece, while the prestigious triple j Australian Album of the Year award will be a contest between the likes of Amy Shark, Courtney Barnett, DMA’S, Hockey Dad, RÜFÜS DU SOL and Tash Sultana.

The 2017 J Awards saw A.B. Original win Australian Album of the Year, while Jen Cloher claimed Double J Artist of the Year, Stella Donnelly won Unearthed Artist of the Year and Client Liaison claimed Australian Music Video of the Year.
The 2018 J Award winners will be announced on Friday, 23rd November, after a panel of judges determine the winners.
