It seems like an inevitable meeting of worlds, but homegrown hero Mallrat and dreamy pop superstar Maggie Rogers have teamed up in Germany to perform a stunning cover of Lana Del Rey‘s seminal hit ‘Video Games.’
Mallrat, who is currently supporting Rogers on her European tour, lead the stunning sombre cover of the song, with Rogers covering backup vocal duties and Elle Puckett helming the guitar.
It’s been a big year for both Mallrat and Maggie Rogers. Mallrat kicked off 2019 with an internet-breaking performance with The Veronicas at Field Day, and then scored herself the #7 spot on Triple J’s 2018 Hottest 100 with ‘Groceries.’ Finally, she’s going on a nationwide tour this April where tickets are being snapped up quick.
Rogers has just dropped her major label debut album Heard It In A Past Life, and is also embarking on an Australian tour this May.
