Slowly Slowly are gearing up for a huge couple of weeks, and they’ve kicked it all off by releasing their brand new single, ‘Jellyfish.’
‘Jellyfish’ is the first bit of new music we’ve had from the Melbourne four-piece since they released their debut album, St. Leonards, last year.
“The song is about that out of body experience you get sometimes when you are looking at the world,” frontman Ben Stewart says of the song.
“Sometimes everything just seems so ridiculous – the concept of existing, being in a body, our interactions with feelings and emotions and this wacky 3D landscape we walk around on from day to day which we tell ourselves is normal.”
It’s a big week for the boys, as they prepare for their performance for triple J’s Like A Version this Good Friday. They’ll be performing it live from Melbourne Town Hall for triple J’s ‘Good Az Friday’ event, a part of Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
