With a career almost four decades long, Violent Femmes are still going strong and have just announced their new album Hotel Last Resort.
The follow up to 2016’s We Can Do Anything, which was the band’s first album in 16 years so we’re stoked we didn’t have to wait too long for the next one.
They’ve also dropped the title track of the album as the lead single, which features Television founding member Tom Verlaine.
Violent Femmes were just in the country last year as part of 2018’s MONA FOMA lineup. Before that they announced a huge Aussie tour in 2017, so we might not have to wait too long for another tour from the legends.
Hotel Last Resort is out Friday, 26th July. Listen to the title track below.
