UPDATE 02/09/19: A.B. Original, Ecca Vandal And A Stack More Just Got Added To triple j’s One Night Stand
triple j’s One Night Stand is back! triple j have announced that this year’s free, all-ages affair will be taking place on Saturday, 14th September.
After months of anticipation, they’ve finally given us the full bill for this year’s event, and it’s a big one. The artists headed to the yet-to-be-announced super secret location are Hilltop Hoods, Meg Mac, Ocean Alley, G Flip and a local triple j Unearthed competition winner.
They’ll be bringing this year’s stacked bill to a town somewhere in Australia that wouldn’t usually have access to a live music event like this, but you’ve got to stay tuned to find out where that’s going to be. Previous One Night Stand’s have been held across the country in towns like Mount Isa, Dubbo and Mildura, to name a few.
This year’s location will be announced this Thursday, 27th June with Brekkie boys Ben & Liam on triple j.
Last year’s One Night Stand saw the likes of Peking Duk, Vance Joy, Middle Kids, Tkay Maidza and more take to St Helens in Tasmania. One week out from the festival last year, organisers announced that ten special guests would be joining the One Night Stand lineup, including Alistair Wright of Cloud Control, 2017 Unearthed High winner Arno Faraji and more.
