UPDATE: Origin Fields Has Just Added Some Massive Acts To Its 2019/2020 Lineup
Last week we learned Tyler, the Creator and Skepta were among some of the big international names coming to Australia for the inaugural Wildlands, a new Brisbane event from the folks behind Victoria’s Beyond the Valley and Perth’s Origin Fields festivals.
Now, there’s some great news for Perth fans who were wondering whether those acts were going to making the trip over to their neck of the woods. Origin Fields have revealed the lineup for their annual New Years bash, with a lot of the artists announced for Wildlands making the trip to Western Australia too.
As with Wildlands, US rapper Tyler, the Creator will be performing his first WA show in six years. The rapper released most recent project IGOR back in May, receiving a ton of praise and scoring Tyler his first US number-one album. The line-up also features grime MC Skepta, along with the likes of trap producer RL Grime, Ella Mai, Golden Features, Rüfüs Du Sol, What So Not and more.
It’s all set to go down over December 31st 2019/January 1st 2020, while the location is yet to be announced.
Check out the full lineup below. Pre-sale tickets go on sale Thursday, 8th August, while general public release goes on sale Tuesday, 13th August.
