Music doesn’t discriminate. It knows no race, gender, sexuality, wealth and definitely no age, as this elderly woman living her best life at a recent Slipknot gig proves.
The heavy metal legends were smashing through the headline set at their ‘Knotfest Roadshow’ festival in New Jersey, and Consequence of Sound is reporting that there was an elderly woman seeming absolutely delighted with the show, clapping along and grinning.
The band were tearing through their track ‘Spit It Out’ while this absolute icon looked on lovingly with ridiculously large ear plugs that also don’t look like they’re in properly.
The band are pretty busy right now, having just dropped their highly anticipated new album We Are Not Your Kind last month. They’ll be touring Australia next month as the support act for Metallica, and it’s nice to know that the show is Grandma-friendly and Grandma-approved.
