Tyler, The Creator has had an absolutely colossal 2019, but he apparently isn’t done with surprises just yet as he’s given us two brand new tracks for us to sink our teeth into with just one week left of the year.
‘Best Interest’ is, according to Pitchfork, a song that Tyler describes as a rough draft that didn’t make his excellent 2019 album IGOR. He’s also delivered another new song, ‘Group B’.
The video for ‘Best Interest’, which was filmed by Wyatt Navarro, sees Tyler on a boat.
“[It’s] a song that I never got to fully finish from IGOR sessions,” he wrote in the video’s description.
“Didn’t want it to sit on a hard drive. Filmed with no music, with hopes that it would sync up, a success!”
It’s perfect timing, seeing as Tyler will be in Australia in just a matter of days for a string of headlining festival performances, at Field Day, Origin Fields, Wildlands and more.
Check out both the new tracks below.
