There seems to be something in the air since 2020 kicked off, with several artists confirming new music for the year ahead.
The latest band to reveal they’re working on new material are Romy Madley Croft, Jamie Smith and Oliver Sim, the trio who make up The xx.
The British act last graced us with music in 2017 when they released I See You, their third studio album.
Just before the new year started, the trio posted the following message on Instagram.
“Looking forward to 2020!”
“We’ve all been working on new music, can’t wait to share it with you!
The xx went on several tours, and released a mini-documentary following the release of I See You
The trio were last in Australia in 2018, so here’s hoping we hear some of that new stuff before 2020 is out!
