Margot Robbie is currently on the press circuit for her new movie Birds of Prey, in which she reprises her Suicide Squad role as Harley Quinn.
As part of that, Robbie went on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this week. During her time on the show, she appeared on a segment called ‘Know It All’, in which Fallon and his guest choose categories and then have to name things in that category before their timer runs. It’s more interesting than it sounds.
Anyway, in this edition, among the likes of 16th century Swedish architects and herbs and spices, one of the categories was rock bands – “any band that knows how to rock”. Robbie names Aerosmith, KISS, Slipknot, Metallica and Beach Boys before messing up by repeating the Metallica answers.
Fallon, for his part, offers Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, The Doors, The Beatles and Rolling Stones.
It’s not the first time Robbie has talked about her love of metal. In 2016, also while appearing as a guest on Fallon, she discussed going through a teenage metal phase and listening to acts like Silverstein and Bullet for My Valentine before shouting out Slipknot in particular.
“I went to a Slipknot concert and to this day it was probably the best concert I’ve ever gone to,” she told the host.
“They’re just amazing performers – even if you don’t like metal, I think you would appreciate a Slipknot concert, cause it’s just incredible to watch.”
