Classic Aussie 80’s rock band The Church have announced an Australian Tour dates this December. To celebrate their 30 year anniversary the will play three albums in full from each decade they’ve been together, including the critically acclaimed Untitled #23, Priest=Aura and Starfish.
The Church celebrated their 30th Anniversary with a special show entitled A Psychedelic Symphony in April 2011 at the Sydney Opera House. They were accompanied by George Ellis (conductor) and the Symphony Orchestra of the University of Sydney. The concert was filmed for a future release on DVD and also for probable broadcast as a televised special.
The has band weathered several line-up changes since the early 1990s, but the last decade has seen them settle on their current line-up, and in 2010, The Church were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in Sydney.
