Never fear, however. As we all continue to practice social distancing (and perhaps begin to grow a little stir crazy), Sydney indie faves Middle Kids have got you covered with what they’re dubbing MKTV.
The band will be going live on their Instagram and YouTube channel later today – at 12pm AEDT, specifically. They’ll be “chattin, jammin & doing whatever takes [their] fancy,” which sounds just fine by us.
The trio’s most recent release was last year’s New Songs for Old Problems EP – standout single ‘Real Thing’ placed at #115 on the Hottest 200.
Middle Kids of course join a huge wave of artists who’ve taken to digital alternatives to bring a little joy and distraction in these uncertain times, from Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie, to Diplo, to a stack of Aussie artists like Julia Jacklin and Stella Donnelly as part of virtual fezzie Isol-Aid over the weekend.
