In the lead up to the release of their next album, Weezer have provided some entertainment for all you stuck at home.
They’ve designed and released their very own 8-bit video game, a classic throw back to retro video games with hard-to-defeat boss levels.
But the ‘End Of The Game’ game comes with a difference. It’s literally unbeatable.
“It’s the perfect game to play while #stayingathome because you can’t beat it,” said the band, reports AltPress.
“Really. We’ve tried. And it’s not just cause we aren’t that good at video games.”
The game itself will remind you of classics like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Street Fighter and Punch Out.
It’s also named after the band’s song by the same name, which will feature on the forthcoming record.
“Taking you from 0 to 100 real quick. Test your luck and try to beat the End of the Game Game,” Weezer tweeted.
The perfect game to play while you’re stuck inside and done watching Tiger King. Good luck beating this boss!

When playing the game, there’s a prize counter, suggesting that prizes can be won throughout the levels.
“Reach the end of the game and you might end up winning the big prize,” it says.
Weezer are also set to touch down in Australia this November, for a massive tour alongside Green Day and Fall Out Boy.
