This Saturday, 25th April will see a group of Australian and New Zealand artists including Tame Impala‘s Kevin Parker, Courtney Barnett, Paul Kelly, Marlon Williams and many more join forces for a livestreamed ANZAC Day concert.
Conceptualised by Michael Gudinski of Frontier Touring/Mushroom Group alongside Jimmy Barnes, Music from the Home Front will honour ANZAC Day, along with frontline workers who are currently fighting the coronavirus pandemic. With artists performing from wherever they’re self-isolating, the virtual concert will be broadcast on Channel Nine in Australia and Three in New Zealand.
The lineup also includes Ben Lee, Delta Goodrem, G Flip, Barnes, Marlon Williams, and The Rubens, just to name a few, with more artists to be announced in the coming days.
“Throughout history music has helped people through times of hardship,” commented Gudinski.
“Music From The Home Front is about uniting Australian and New Zealanders through the power of music in a time that we all need a bit of hope and happiness.”
Music From the Home Front will screen on Channel Nine at 7:30pm AEST this Saturday, 25th April. Check out the full lineup below, and head here for more information.
