Perth psych lords Tame Impala are the latest act to grace the virtual stage on US tele show The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Band leader and bonafide nashy treasure Kevin Parker performed solo as the official musical guest on the funnyman’s new #playfromhome gig series during last night’s ep, delivering a multi-tracked version of The Slow Rush cut ‘Is It True’ from the comfort of his own home.
Flaunting his multi-instrumental badassery (and ability to dress in different outfits), Kev handled bass, guitar and vocal duties in three separate, synced-up takes against a rainbow split-sceen background.
