DMA’S are currently getting ready to release their third album The Glow which, after pushing back its initial April release date due to the coronavirus pandemic, will be out July 10.
They’ve shared three singles from the album so far – its title track, ‘Silver’, and ‘Life Is a Game of Changing’. The latter track has received a remix from British electronic pioneers Orbital, and now an artist a little closer to home has given his spin on the track.
Late last week, the trio shared a remix of the song by Aussie producer Willaris. K, whose version is a pulsating, bass-heavy banger that will feel right at home on a sweaty dancefloor whenever we’re allowed back on them again.
Late last month, DMA’S appeared as part of the digital Music From the Home Front ANZAC Day concert, delivering one of the event’s highlights with a spine-tingling cover of Crowded House’s 1988 hit ‘Better Be Home Soon’.
Meanwhile, Willaris. K has kept busy over the past couple of months. He released the first of two EPs – Lustre – back in April, collating recent singles like ‘5 O’CLOCK’, ‘DETACH’ and Gordi collab ‘INDIFFERENT’. He’ll release another, titled Full Noise, at the end of the month.
