It’s been more of a kerfuffle than it ever has, but Splendour In The Grass is finally locked in and going ahead. And, in case you missed it, tickets are on sale this very second.
Yep, although the event isn’t happening for over a year, you can nab those all elusive tickets this very second via Moshtix. 3 day tickets, single day tickets, VIP Village tickets and camping tickets are all available – none of which have sold out at the time of writing.
Splendour In The Grass 2020 was initially supposed to go ahead next month, with Flume, Tyler, The Creator and The Strokes set to headline. Then, due to the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent restrictions placed on mass gatherings, concerts and music festivals, it was pushed back to October. Finally, the organisers made the call to cancel Splendour 2020 altogether.
“We have been monitoring the situation closely for the past few months and while Australia is now moving into the recovery phase, there is no timeline yet around the opening of international borders,” said Splendour co-producers Jessica Ducrou and Paul Piticco in a press statement.
“As a result, and with our audience interests front and centre, we must announce the reschedule to 2021 now. We intend to rebook as many of the 2020 artists as possible and we have started to work through that process.”
