As the rest of the country continues to grapple with COVID-19 and the effective pausing of the live music industry because of it, Western Australia is ready to open up festivals again with the Wave Rock Weekender lineup just being announced.
Due to obvious reasons, the lineup is completely comprised of WA artists, headlined by the likes of San Cisco, POND and Spacey Jane.
Also on the lineup is Stella Donnelly, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Carla Geneve and many more.
The festival, entering its 15th year, will take place in the final weekend of September at the Wave Rock caravan park in Hyden, about 4 hours away from Perth.
Representatives for the event have also confirmed, via a press release, that “the festival is making extra room to ensure it can run in either Phase 4 or Phase 5 restrictions safely.”
