The virtual National Democratic Convention (NDC) kicked off today and runs through until Thursday. As part of the convention, they have a slew of artists playing including John Legend, The Chicks, Billie Eilish, Bily Porter, and Jennifer Hudson.
Joining them though, is Maggie Rogers and Leon Bridges, who kicked off the convention.
Rogers blessed us with an ocean-side, Golden Hour performance of ‘Back In My Body’. It’s such an effortless performance that’s 10/10 goosebump inducing.
Leon Bridges gave us a rooftop performance of his new single ‘Sweeter’ with Terrace Martin. The performance followed a tribute to George Floyd from his brothers. ‘Sweeter’ was released following the death of Floyd, and includes lyrics like, “Why do I fear with skin dark as night? Can’t feel peace with those judging eyes.”
