Skrillex has produced a track with ex doors members Ray Manzarek and Robbie Krieger as part of the Hyundai RE:GENERATION. The series sees five DJs/producers teaming up with five diverse artists and crafting music that transcends both genres.
The new track titled Breakn’ a Sweat is sure to horrify some life-long Doors fans, it even features the lyrics ‘Come On Baby Light My Fire‘.
Other musicians working together for RE:GENERATION include Mark Ronson collaborating with Erykah Badu, members of the Dap Kings and Trombone SHorty on a jazz number; The Crystal Method producing an R & B song with Martha Reeves; DJ Premier on a classical piece with Nas and the Berklee School of Music Orchestra; and Pretty Lights contributing to a country song by Leann Rimes and Ralph Stanley.
