Australian rock veterans Baby Animals will celebrate three decades of their 1991, self-titled debut album by taking it on the road, with a tour set to kick off in June of this year.
The run of 30th anniversary dates will see the band performing in Brisbane, Adelaide, Tweed Heads, Sunshine Coast and Melbourne. They’ll be joined on all dates by Melbourne rockers Kingswood, who returned last year with three albums – Juveniles, Reveries and the festively-themed A Kingswood Christmas.
Baby Animals released their self-titled debut in September of 1991, featuring a slew of hits like ‘Rush You’, ‘Early Warning’, ‘Painless’ and ‘One Word’.
The record spent six weeks at the number one slot on the ARIA Album Charts, eventually going 8x platinum. It would also score two ARIA Awards in the Album of The Year and Breakthrough Artist – Album categories.
