Megan Thee Stallion celebrated her 26th birthday yesterday (15th February) and to celebrate the occasion, she returned to her rap roots with a new song, ‘Southside Forever Freestyle’.
In case you aren’t familiar, Megan Thee Stallion broke onto the scene with her viral freestyles that she posted on YouTube – some of which are still available to watch on her channel now.
She teased the freestyle as something for her OG fans, although this one is of slightly higher production value than what she used to do.
Speaking of production, Megan recruited regular collaborators Juicy J and LilJuMadeTheBeat to help produce the beat for the song.
This marks the first bit of new music from Megan since she hopped on a remix of Ariana Grande‘s ’34+35’ alongside Doja Cat.
