It’s been just over two months since Phoebe Bridgers made her SNL debut and smashed her guitar on stage. In turn, sending Twitter into a frenzy, with some praising the act and others irrationally furious that she had the audacity.
Now, that smashed up guitar is going to auction. At the time of writing, the bid is at $18,000 USD.
The auction is to support GLAAD, an organisation that supports LGBTQIA+ and their increased portrayal in the community and media.
The auction is set to end at 11:59pm ET tonight — 2pm AEST tomorrow.
There are currently 24 bids for the guitar. They increase in increments of $500.
An extra special golden nugget to come out of the auction though, is Bridgers’ pointed crack at David Crosby.
After the infamous guitar smash, Crosby was asked what he thought. He responded to a fan, calling it “pathetic”.

Phoebe Bridgers replied at the time saying, “little bitch”.
Now, announcing the auction of the guitar, Bridgers tweeted, “It can finally be yours,” tagging David Crosby.
