Foo Fighters have teamed up with an unlikely collaborator in comedian Dave Chappelle to perform a cover of Radiohead‘s ‘Creep’ at Madison Square Garden.
Earlier this month, we reported that Foo Fighters would have the honour of playing the first full capacity gig at the iconic New York City venue since before the COVID pandemic.
The gig saw virtually no restrictions, with the exception that everyone in attendance had to prove they were fully vaccinated. Because of this, protests were held outside the venue.
They also delivered a series of covers for the special performance. They reprised their cover of Queen‘s ‘Somebody To Love’ after they performed it in California last week, before debuting a cover of The Bee Gees‘ ‘You Should Be Dancing’.
The latter comes just days after Foo Fighters announced their disco alter ego, The Dee Gees, and their new album ‘HAIL SATIN’.
But the most surprising cover comes with help from Dave Chappelle, who is somewhat of a veteran when it comes to performing the seminal Radiohead classic, having covered it a number of times including one with Ed Sheeran.
Watch the performance, and stare in awe at how full that crowd is, below.
