Coldplay has gone and dropped a 10-minute non-single today. ‘Coloratura’ is the closing track of their newly announced album and it’s so pretty.
Like an intergalactic love song, the instrumentals on ‘Coloratura’ create a stunning scene, while Chris Martin sings, “It’s a crazy world, it’s true. In this crazy world, I just want you.”
The band has said though that this isn’t a single. The next single to follow up ‘Higher Power’ will arrive in September.
‘Coloratura’ is taken from Music of the Spheres. It’ll arrive Friday, 15th October but you can peep the tracklisting already down below.
They announced the new album and shared a trailer for it yesterday.
The trailer seems to sample a really sonically-diverse set of tracks. Interesting!
