Missy Higgins has shared the stirring new clip to accompany her new single ‘Edge Of Something’ featuring a supercut of footage from the ABC television series Total Control, of which she contributed the single to.
The track was officially released on Friday, 15th October, so the clip is coming to us a week later.
In the clip, Higgins sits by her piano, singing the song while she plays the accompaniment. Clips from Total Control weave in and out of her performing the track.
ABC’s Hilary Campilan edited the clip, with Higgins saying Campilan’s work “[makes] for such a powerful video.”
‘Edge Of Something’ is one of several tracks Higgins has written that features on the show’s official soundtrack. It was produced with Brendan Love of The Teskey Brothers.
“Writing for Deborah Mailman, Rachel Griffiths (and many more amazing women in the show) and the fierce and complex characters they all portray was super inspiring, and felt very relevant for the times we’re living in,” she said.
Total Control is about to enter its second season, with the premiere due to screen on Sunday, 7th November.
