Fresh from their historic Hottest 100 win, The Wiggles have unveiled the full tracklist for their upcoming double album of covers and mate, this is gonna be off its f*cking chops.
The LP, dubbed ReWiggled, will feature two unique discs — one featuring The Wiggles covering a bunch of famous pop tunes, and the other chocked with Aussie artists covering Wiggles classics.
The first disc will feature members of your favourite rainbow sweater-wearers (from both the current and OG iterations of the band) giving us renditions of iconic tracks from The Chats, AC/DC, Rihanna, Fatboy Slim, The White Stripes, Queen, Blondie & more… plus, naturally, their Hottest 100-topping Like A Version of Tame Impala’s ‘Elephant’ and their recent cover of Lime Cordiale and Idris Elba’s ‘Apple Crumble’.
While disc two comes packed with Wiggles songs performed by some in-vogue Aussie faves including Stella Donnelly (covering ‘Ba Ba Da Bicycle Ride’), DZ Deathrays (‘Hot Potato’), and Spacey Jane (‘D.O.R.O.T.H.Y’), Polish Club (Apples and Bananas’), Luca Brasi (‘The Shimmie Shake’) & more!
It’s due for release on Friday, 11th March.
