US singer/songwriter Conan Gray is set to make his long-awaited return to Australia this year, announcing a trio of east coast dates for November.
Last in the country in February of 2020 for a small run of promotional stops, Gray was originally scheduled to undertake a similar tour of Australia in September of that year. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic saw these tour dates cancelled without any hopes of a timely rescheduling.
Now after two years, Gray has announced his debut Australian headline tour, with three shows set to take place in November of 2022. Kicking off at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall, Gray will also hit up Sydney’s Horden Pavilion before wrapping up his trek at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena.
Gray’s debut album, Kid Krow, was released alongside the advent of the global pandemic, with its March 2020 release date seeing it serve as fitting lockdown listening. Following the success of his debut (including the Aussie top 20 track, ‘Heather’), a handful of of singles from Gray have preceded the release of his second album, with Superache set to be released on 24th June.
