Taylor Swift’s box office-shattering concert film The Eras Tour will be available to “rent on demand” from Wednesday, 13th December – the pop musician’s 34th birthday. Swift announced the film’s imminent digital availability in a post on her social media pages. The streaming version will be longer than the 169 minute theatrical release, with the addition of the songs ‘Wildest Dreams’, ‘The Archer’ and ‘Long Live’.
“Well, so, basically I have a birthday coming up and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home,” Swift said.

Swift’s post said the film will be available to “rent on demand”, suggesting it either won’t be coming to an established streaming service or it won’t be covered by existing subscriptions. The post also confirmed its release in just two locations – the US and Canada – with “additional countries” to be announced.
The Eras Tour opened in Australian cinemas on Friday, 13th October, and became one of the biggest cinematic events of the year. The film is directed by Sam Wrench, who previously handled concert films for Billie Eilish and Lizzo, and it was filmed during Swift’s three-night stand at LA’s SoFi Stadium in August 2023.
Swift is bringing The Eras Tour to Australia in February 2024. The US pop star will play a trio of shows at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and four shows at Sydney’s Accor Stadium. All seven shows are sold out. Swift recently won the ARIA Award for Most Popular International Artist.
