Share the Spirit has announced the lineup for its 2024 event at Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung land. It’s happening on Friday, 26th January, a day of mourning for the Indigenous people of this land.
There are dozens of acts on the lineup, including Bart Willoughby’s reggae rock group No Fixed Address, roots veterans Coloured Stone, Mutti Mutti songwriter Kutcha Edwards, Wiradjuri woman and electronic producer Naretha Williams and Yorta Yorta Dja Dja Wurrung singer/songwriter Carissa Nyalu. Find the complete lineup below.
Share the Spirit is curated by First Nations music organisation Songlines. The theme of this year’s event is “continuum into tomorrow.” In a statement, Songlines CEO Robbie Bundle unpacked the implications of the theme. “Continuum into Tomorrow became a theme that celebrates the oldest living continuum on the planet,” Bundle said.
