TV Girl are the latest artist from the nixed Splendour In The Grass line-up for 2024 to proceed with what would have been their sideshows around it in July 2024. The San Diego indie-pop trio will perform three shows along the east coast while they are in Australia. This will include a co-headlining show with UK upstarts The Last Dinner Party at the Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane.
The shows will additionally mark the first time TV Girl have performed in Australia, nearly 15 years after they initially formed circa 2010. The tour comes in support of the band’s fourth studio album Grapes Upon The Vine, which was released in June 2023.

Sharing the news to their own social media pages, the band shared a tongue-in-cheek message with Australian fans ahead of the shows. “Attention Australian friends, or ‘mates’!” it began. “We have heard your sad, pitiable cries for “America’s Favorite Indie Band” to finally make their way to your side of the equator! Don’t be a ‘bludger’, have your fingers warmed up and ready to click a link on Friday.”
