Unstoppable rock outfit The Black Keys have helped out a new track by soul musician Michael Kiwanuka
The cruisey bluesy track goes by the name of Lasan and is set to feature as a B-side on Kiwanuka’s new single I’m Getting Ready.
NME has reported that when previously asked about Lasan, The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach said,
“It was great – really quick. We went and did it really quick at Ray Davies’ studio. It was nice. Obviously his voice is amazing; the songs are cool. The production on that stuff is great too – I like what the guy is doing.”
Michael Kiwanuka’s debut record Home Again will be out on March 12, 2012.
