Grinspoon are now back in the studio recording their seventh studio album and follow-up to 2009’s Six to Midnight. As Triple M points out, some recent tweets by frontman Phil Jamieson read that the band are now enjoying Byron Bay, staying at guitarist Pat Davern’s house, and working through the tracks.
They announced the new album back in September via their website. No release date, tracks or album names have been confirmed. Last year they managed to score 3 albums in triple j’s hottest 100 albums of all time, with their classic album A Guide To Better Living coming in at Number 12.
So it begins. The long journey to @PatDavern house to begin work on @Grinspoon 7. Pmac to Byron on a motorcycle. Fun times.
