Two Aussie DJs, who were going to play at Hollywood venue Drai’s tonight, have been given the boot for a set from one of the guys from the Black Eyed Peas.
InTheMix reports born-and-bred Sydney DJ Cassian was booted off stage midway through his set to make way for one of the Peas’ not-so-well-known members Apl.De.Ap (full name Allan Pineda Lindo Jr.). Fellow DJ Anna Lunoe was also scheduled to play but didn’t even get the chance to spin a tune.
Cassian tweeted to his followers: “@annalunoe and myself kicked off the decks in Hollywood by the Black Eyed Peas.” The news upset several of Cassian’s fans, especially ‘crystalrose’ – who had come from San Diego to see Cassian play.

Another fan, ‘Tenneth’ blasted management of the club for ‘bumping a legit DJ for this douche from BEP’. Showing just how much of a good sport he is – Cassian has offered both fans free tickets to a show of their choice.
