Straight off the back of his 2012 J Award nomination, Australian rapper Urthboy has announced his plans for a 2013 national tour. After the release of his album Smokey’s Haunt, Urthboy is bringing along his friends One Sixth and recent Elefant Traks addition Jimblah.
Sixth recently won the Hilltop Hoods Initiative contest, designed to highlight unearthed Australian rappers. The tour will kick off in Queensland before the Blue Mountains’ rapper heads across the entire covering, visiting South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, Western Australia and New South Wales, where he will play mostly metro concerts.
