Literally an hour after he blew the roof off Madison Square Garden with pals Bon Jovi for the 12-12-12 concert, Bruce Springsteen has announced second shows for each city, including his miniature festival at Hanging Rock, which features none other than Jimmy Barnes and The Rubens.
The Boss has unveiled that, due to popular demand, he will perform a second show in EACH city. Yeah, that’s right, not just a cheeky extra in Sydney, but Melbourne, Brisbane and the aforementioned Hanging Rock will each get an extra show in an attempt to satisfy fans. Springsteen will bring the world famous E-Street Band with him when he touches down in March in support of this year’s release of Wrecking Ball.
Promoter Michael Gudinski spoke out about the recent announcement stating:
The ticket sales for the tour have been outstanding and it was clear within the first couple of minutes that demand was far going to outweigh the number of tickets we had available. I jumped straight on the phone to Bruce’s people and they have happily agreed to add these additional shows for the general public, on-sale on Friday, 14 December at 9am local time. It’s fantastic that even more fans will have the chance to secure tickets on Friday, however, I do have to stress that shows are strictly limited.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning at 9AM sharp; be quick and good luck!
