One of Australia’s best boutique festivals – The Gum Ball – will return to the Hunter Valley in 2013, and an extra day of fun has been added to the festival as well.
The Gum Ball will take place from April 25-27, 2013 and will be hosted by the Johnston family on their bushland estate ‘Dashville’, which is located at Lower Belford in the Hunter Valley.
The festival is BYO, family friendly, and offers camping, great food, markets and open spaces, with an eclectic mix of music and activities suitable for all ages. Last year, the festival broke its ticket sales record, and with any luck, they’ll take it to a new level this year as their reputation continues to soar.
UK folk duo Turin Breaks will headline this year’s event, and they lead an eclectic first announcement of acts from home and abroad. The second round of acts will be dropped on January 16, with organisers promising some “pleasant surprises and local flavour.”
