Diary of a Madman – Metal highlights from The Riot Act

Greetings once again metal heads. Our friends over at the Riot Act are on their game this week, with a whole bunch of ear-bleedingly tasty announcements to wet your appetites.

First up is the announcement of the ONSLAUGHT OF SOUND! festival to be held at the ANU bar, Canberra on September 26. From the press release:

Remember when Canberra was the Heavy Metal capital of Australia? A breeding ground for legends such as Armoured Angel, Alchemist, Blood Duster, Pod People, Henry’s Anger, and the list goes on.

These bands are still around (well, not all), but where has the scene gone? There are plenty of quality bands here, but very few quality line-ups.

We here at Mudd Promotions believe the time has come for Canberra to again sit upon the Headbangers Throne of Oz. Enter Onslaught Of Sound.

If it’s heavy music you crave, there is something on this line-up to tantalize those two horned eardrums of yours.

If you don’t believe me, just check out this line-up:

Paindivision

Switchblade

Our Last Enemy

The Vaine

Forgery

Northlane

Stigmata

Reign Of Terror

Inside The Exterior

Blind Eyed Gods

It doesn’t get much better than this, so make sure you get to the ANU bar, Canberra on September 26 this year. Doors open at 3, first band are at 3.30. Only $20 at the door. Sorry kiddies, it is strictly 18+.

Prepare for the Onslaught!
