Brett Winterford has announced a string of Australian tour dates as the Sydney-based musician hits the road behind current single Hey Make Believer. The song is lifted from Winterford’s 2012 debut EP, The Greenthumb EP.
For those new to Winterford, the singer-songwriter’s music is instantly familiar in feel, with an inoffensive folky acoustic sound that is accessible and infectious. Winterford’s The Greenthumb EP was inspired by Sydney Long’s revered painting of the Australian landscape, Pan.
The EP touches on subjects of trials and and triumphs of the troubadour and was recorded with the help of Josh Schuberth, who has also produced the likes of fellow Australian songman Josh Pyke. Soft, gentle and soothing, Winterford is sure to lift you spirit and warm your soul.
