DragonForce are perhaps the most grandiose metal band on the line-up for Soundwave 2013. The band has amassed a legion of followers from all over the world behind their soaring tales of eagles and warriors, each forged with face-melting solos by guitarists Sam Totman and Herman Li.
Before DragonForce crossed the pond for Soundwave, the English metal outfit set sail as part of the 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise. While performing, Li threw himself into a hot tub to perform an aquatic solo.
Not one to leave his trusting axe behind, Li not only saved his instrument from the murky depths but brought the guitar to Soundwave. As Li explains, it takes a lot more than a little water and urine to vanquish the Herman Li Signature Guitar.
