Avicii is over his health issues and is confirmed to play the remaining legs of the Future Music Festival in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide this weekend.
And underagers can rejoyce as well – the superstar DJ will also be performing his slots at the underage Goodlife Festival in Melbourne tomorrow and Sydney on Sunday as scheduled.
Promoters Future Entertainment confirmed the news via a press release earlier today, while the man himself declared that he is a starter via a series of tweets on his Twitter account, which you can check out at the bottom of the page.
“Right now I’m just really relieved to be out of the hospital and to be able do the shows that I can!”, he tweeted.
Avicii was unable to perform at both the Brisbane and Perth festivals last weekend after being rushed directly to the hospital upon landing in Brisbane for stomach-related issues.
He has since hinted in the Tweets that his gallbladder could have been the cause of his illness, and that he may have to get it removed when he returns home to Sweden.
