Deap Vally, the Californian rock duo comprised of singer and guitarist Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards on the drums, will make their way across at least two of the seven seas to play a couple of shows in Australia.
The band’s debut album Sistrionix will be released in May 2013 with singles End Of The Wold and Lies (included below) catching the attention of music afficionados triple j, Spin, NME and Zane Lowe, among others.
With a bluesy rock sound reminiscent of other rough and ready power pairs such as The White Stripes and The Mess Hall, Deap Vally have supported The Vaccines, Eagles of Death Metal and Muse since forming in 2011.
So if you’re up for getting down to some solid rock n’ roll with all of the fuzz but none of the fuss, grab a ticket to Deap Valley.
Tickets for both shows are on sale now.
