Good god almighty! Glastonbury has announced its full line-up for 2013 and, as foretold by Serge Pizzorno of Kasabian, The Rolling Stones are indeed one of the headliners at this year’s festival.
Of course even a name as big as The Rolling Stones can get lost in the sea of quality acts on the bill. There’s Arctic Monkeys, Mumford & Sons, Vampire Weekend, Portishead, The xx, Foals. Azealia Banks, The Hives, Public Enemy, Crystal Castles, Phoenix, Johnny Marr, James Blake, Nas, Disclosure. And that’s only scratching the surface.
Some of our local talent will be heading over to represent DU, namely Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Tame Impala, Jagwar Ma, Xavier Rudd and The Bombay Royale.
For all those unable to attend the BBC will be offering a live stream of the festival. It’s the first in the history of Glastonbury that the full event will be streamed with this year’s service giving users the options of which stage they wish to watch.
Check out the full line-up in the poster below.
