Iggy Azalea Replaces Angel Haze On Movement Festival Line-up

Aussie ex-pat Iggy Azalea has been announced as the replacement for the ultra hot-right-now Angel Haze on the bill for the upcoming Movement festival.

Though born in Sydney, Azalea hasn’t toured her homeland since achieving Internet fame some 18 months ago. This would also have been the first Australian tour for Haze, who has pinned the cancellation down to recording commitments, but that didn’t make it any easier for the rapper who explained in a statement:

“Sucks that I have to announce today that I will no be longer playing the Movement Tour in Australia, Right now I am totally committed to finishing this record and have locked myself away in the studio so I can get new music to you guys asap. I can’t wait to get over to Australia to play for you – I know it won’t be long”.

Triple J have added that the “scant availability of a certain superstar producer” is potentially the crux of the problem.

Azalea has been fairly buzzworthy since her singles Pu$$Y and Murda Bizness *rolls eyes* went viral. Her latest single Work was released not too long ago and I gotta say, I really don’t get it. Are we meant to laugh?

Regardless, Iggy Azalea will be performing alongside Nas, Bliss N Eso and the one and only 2 Chainz at Movement festival – dates and line-up can be found here.
