The forthcoming Hoodoo Guru curated invitational has hit a couple of snags, but will still deliver the goods nonetheless. Dig It Up! organisers have announced venue changes for both Melbourne and Sydney, with Sydney earning some cheeky last-minute line-up additions.
Just when you thought you couldn’t fit any more names on the poster, Canberra cats The Fighting League have been announced with Radio Birdman’s Deniz Tek playing in duo mode, funny people Luke Heggie, Sam Bowring and MC Andrew Barnett, and Hard-Ons guitarist Blackie performing solo, as well as a small crowd of other artists.
As for the venue changes, due to the closure of Notes, The Sly Fox will now be the 2nd main band room. The Midnight Special will now be hosting gigs for the event and The Green Room Lounge has been pumped even bigger.
Now that Pony has shut its doors, Dig It Up has arranged everything to happen across three stages: The Palace Main Room, The Palace Attic Bar, and The Spleen Bar. For this to work, the venue will be opening earlier.
